Sean Gaskell's business career started at Lloyds Bank Plc (London) in the International Finance Department. On his return from the United Kingdom, he ventured out with two associates to start up Genesis Consulting (Pty) Ltd. Genesis merged with part of the Sentinel Group in June 2000 and Sentinel International Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd was formed.

Sean held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Sentinel International Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd, before joining the Geneva Management Group at the end of 2008 as director and head of client services for Africa. Sean has been involved in securitization and other special purpose vehicle structures since 2005 and holds a number of important directorships in key client matters.

James Irons heads GMG Fund Services, based in Mauritius. He is responsible for the management of the firm's professional fund infrastructure services, reporting and regulatory obligations, the development of future related products and general client matters.

A Chartered Accountant (SA) James completed his articles at KPMG (SA) before transferring to KPMG Cayman Islands where he worked as a supervisor in hedge fund audit and later in restructuring and advisory. His key roles included co-management of the Cayman Islands Pricing Desk, providing hedge fund and structured product valuation support. In his present position, James is able to apply his experience and knowledge gained in audit and funds structuring for the benefit of GMG's clients. James works extensively with members of the broader GMG team both in South Africa and Mauritius where he is based. He regularly travels to South Africa.
